Who We Are
Mission: To foster a welcoming, inclusive community that embodies the teachings of Jesus Christ through worship, service, and outreach.
We are God’s grace, in action, within our church and among our community. We are an Episcopal Church, committed to Welcome, Relationships, Outreach, and the Transformational Power of the Spirit.
Decidedly focused on the life of the individual, we see our sanctuary filled with families with children. We reach out to people and fold them into the life of the church, and we actively facilitate the formation of meaningful relationships within our congregation. We see ourselves as advocates for social change and justice. We engage more deeply with our Traverse City neighbors, and we seek ways to support the abundant spiritual talents in our parishioners. We have a passion for outreach, relationship building, welcoming, and spiritual transformation.
What We Do
We offer a Food Pantry on Mondays and Fridays, and two weekly Community Meals – one on Fridays at noon, and one on Sundays at 1pm. Both the Food Pantry and the Community Meal program are currently using a ‘to-go’ distribution method, during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Jubilee House, our ministry for those experiencing homelessness, is listed as a separate agency on this site.
