Who We Are

Mission: To provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals experiencing homelessness and those facing marginalization due to mental health conditions, including substance use disorders.

Jubilee House is an outreach program of Grace Episcopal Church. Opened in 2005, Jubilee House is the region’s only day shelter for unhoused persons providing a comfortable place to be indoors, as well as other services. It is financially dependent on donations from individuals, churches, other non-profit organizations, and local philanthropic groups. The Jubilee House assists with daily living needs and support, which promotes the dignity and respect of people experiencing homelessness and marginally employed in the Greater Grand Traverse Area. The Jubilee House 501C3 is through Grace Episcopal Church, Traverse City.

What We Do

We serve those experiencing homelessness in our area by providing a drop-in center where people have access to showers and bathrooms, laundry facilities, personal storage totes, computers with online access, a safe place to get inside from the weather, and volunteers to listen and connect people with services. We also offer a hygiene pantry for personal care and household cleaning products at the Jubilee House site, and we serve a good cup of coffee!
