Who We Are
Mission: We Support and enhance the well-being of seniors in Leelanau County through a network of volunteers and community partners.
ShareCare of Leelanau was incorporated in 1994 to support seniors in Leelanau County. ShareCare is committed to volunteerism and delivers most of its services through volunteers. As an independent, nonprofit 501 c3 community organization, ShareCare helps fill the gaps in needed services and ensures that all Leelanau County residents 60 and above who need support, have it.
What We Do
Services and Voluinteer Opportunities:
- Transportation
- Friendly visits
- Phone reassurance program
- Basic respite
- Durable medical equipment
- Yard clean-up (fall and spring)
- Wellness Programming
- Library item, mail, and grocery delivery
- Memory Cafe
