Who We Are
Mission: To provide services and administers programs to improve the health, safety, and prosperity of the residents of the state of Michigan.
The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) administers dozens of programs to improve the health, safety and prosperity of state residents. MDHHS works hand-in-hand with hundreds of partners at the local and regional levels to provide these needed services.
What We Do
MDHHS provides a variety of direct aid to Michigan families, child protective services, foster and adoption resources, safety & injury prevention, health services, and more.
Volunteers learn new skills, become involved in the community, help others and receive reimbursement for mileage and some meals in Emmet, Charlevoix, & Antrim counties.
