Cadillac Area Habitat for Humanity

Mission: Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.

Cadillac Area Habitat for Humanity (CAHFH) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing affordable housing to families in need in the Cadillac area of Michigan. The organization is part of the broader Habitat for Humanity network, which operates around the world with a mission to eliminate poverty housing and create decent, affordable homes for all.

Cadillac Area Habitat for Humanity’s programs focus on safe and affordable housing, community outreach, and volunteer involvement. The organization works with local families, volunteers, and donors to build homes and provide services such as weatherization, aging in place, and repair programs. The goal is to address both the immediate housing needs of families and the long-term stability of neighborhoods in the Cadillac area.

The nonprofit operates a Habitat ReStore, a retail store that sells donated new and gently used building materials, furniture, appliances, and home goods. The proceeds from the ReStore support Habitat’s housing programs and help fund the construction of new homes in the community.

In addition to its housing projects, Cadillac Area Habitat for Humanity is committed to providing educational resources to homeowners, helping them understand home maintenance, budgeting, and financial literacy to ensure long-term success and stability.
