Who We Are
Mission: To provide leadership in the promotion of the Cadillac area as a tourist destination. We work to develop awareness and promote recognition of the value visitors bring to the area and the importance of a high quality visitor experience.
Cadillac Area Festival & Events is 501c3 arm of the Cadillac Area Visitors Bureau, a 501c6 organization supporting tourism and quality of life in the Greater Cadillac area. We serve as the primary resource for promoting tourism, attractions, events, and activities in and around the Cadillac region. We work to showcase Cadillac as a top destination for travelers seeking outdoor recreation, local culture, and a welcoming community atmosphere.
What We Do
We highlight the natural beauty and recreational opportunities available in the region, including lakes, forests, and trails. It is known for promoting outdoor activities like boating, fishing, hiking, biking, and snow sports during the winter months. Cadillac’s Manistee National Forest, Ludington State Park, and Lake Cadillac are key natural features that attract visitors year-round.
In addition to outdoor recreation, we promote the city’s local events, festivals, and community activities, including the Cadillac Winterfest, Christmas parades, and farmers’ markets. We work closely with local businesses to foster tourism and economic growth, encouraging visitors to explore the shops, restaurants, and cultural landmarks that make Cadillac a unique destination.
We also provide information about lodging, dining, and other amenities to help visitors plan their stay. Whether visitors are looking for a weekend getaway, an adventure-filled vacation, or a peaceful retreat in nature, we offer resources to help them make the most of their experience in the region.
Lastly, we work to connect individuals with volunteer opportunities within the Cadillac region!
