Who We Are
Mission: To protect, promote, and enhance natural conservation in Charlevoix County, Michigan.
The Charlevoix Conservation District works with local, state and national partners to provide landowners with natural resource conservation options. The delivery of these services allows citizens to manage their private lands for a cleaner, healthier northern Michigan.
What We Do
To support their mission, the Charlevoix Conservation District offers various programs and resources, including:
- Landowner Assistance: Providing guidance on sustainable land management practices, invasive species management, and shoreline preservation.
- Community Outreach: Engaging the public through educational workshops, events, and resources to promote environmental stewardship.
- Partnerships: Collaborating with local, state, and federal agencies, as well as community organizations, to address natural resource issues effectively.
