Mission: To advocate, strengthen, and advance the dignity and opportunities of people with disabilities, through services and employment.
Grand Traverse Industries (GTI) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advocating for and enhancing the dignity and opportunities of individuals with disabilities through various services and employment opportunities.
What We Do
Key Services and Programs:
- Day Program Services: Engaging activities both in-facility and in the community, including karaoke, music, cooking classes, arts and crafts, exercise, and games, designed to keep participants active and build relationships.
- Organizational Employment: Vocational training in basic and advanced work skills within a manufacturing setting, providing individuals with the opportunity to earn a paycheck.
- Competitive Integrated Employment: Assistance with resume support, application help, communication support, social navigation, and job coaching for independent employment in the community.
- Supported Employment: A continuum of services in the community, including enclaves, affirmative business, individual placements, and work crews within private industry, with individual job coaching as needed.
