Volunteer: Aquarium Maintenance - Career Fair. At Inland Seas we operate a year-round facility that serves as the Inland Seas Education Center and our office space. There is no set schedule. Volunteer: Shipkeeping Team - Career FairDo you think big boats are cool? Have you ever wanted to use a fire hose? Have I got an opportunity for you! Inland Seas Education Association (ISEA) is looking for teens to join our weekly Shipkeeping Team! Once a week during May and June we will be getting together to hose down our two big tallships. That's right, we are looking for people to swab the deck! Here is what you need to know: This team will meet once a week (likely on Wednesdays, but overall dependent on volunteer availability) for about two hours.There are two location opportunities: Suttons Bay and Discovery Pier. On both ships, we will be swabbing the upper deck as well as the floors down below deck.The ship will be tied to the dock, no worries about getting lost at sea!Joining us only once or twice is still very helpful. For the program, we use a kit of PVC pipes and Pelican ROV motors/propellors. In total there are seven kits. We are seeking a team who is interested in checking the electrical connections of all switches and making sure they are tight/in working order!
