Northwest Michigan Hospice Assist

Mission: To support and resources for terminally ill patients and their caregivers.

We are a nonprofit organization that helps hospice patients, and their caregivers with finances by giving up to $500.00 grants that do not need to be reimbursed. NMHA partners with Northwest Michigan Health Department, Advisa Care Home Health and Hospice, medical care providers, hospitals, nursing home facilities, religious organizations that can offer support to the terminally ill.

Northwest Michigan Hospice Assist and its dedicated volunteer board from Emmet, Charlevoix and Antrim Counties raise funds to give grants to hospice patients and their caregivers. We raise money through generous doners and by hosting events throughout the year. An example of gifts are gas cards, contributing toward pharmacy bills, purchasing lift chairs, and seeking home help projects such as snow removal.
