Lead girls in a safe, supportive meeting atmosphere. Troop Leader/Co plan meetings based on girls interest and will support girls through the Girl Scout Leadership Experience to earn badges, the Product Sales Program and Council leader events and activities. Troop Leader/Co to hold and execute meetings, events, and activities, in addition to manage money and provide up to date opportunities to girls within the program. Criminal background checks must be completed for all volunteers prior to participation in any activities with Girl Scouts.
Safer Together- Give Your Time to Kids!
Safer Together is a collaborative initiative co-sponsored by Safer Kids/Safer Schools, the Northwest Community Health Innovation Region, and United Way of Northwest Michigan.
Together, we are launching a concerted effort to recruit adults who are willing to volunteer with children and teens. Our goal is to reduce school shootings and foster safer, more supportive environments for youth by ensuring every child has at least one caring adult to connect with and show interest in their lives. Safer Together makes a promise to all kids in our community: your safety and well-being matter. Your lives matter; you are our future.
