Grow Benzie needs your help to keep our beautiful grounds and facilities in top shape!

In this role, you will:

• Assist with a variety of tasks, both inside and outside:

• Maintaining the landscaping around our grounds, including weeding, planting, and grounds upkeep.

• Housekeeping duties like wiping surfaces, vacuuming, and keeping our office and event center tidy and clean.

• No prior gardening or cleaning experience is necessary – we'll provide all the training you need!

• Take direction and collaborate with staff when required.

• This position is perfect for volunteers who enjoy working independently.

• Detail-oriented and enjoy keeping things clean and organized.

• Enjoy working outdoors and have an interest in learning basic gardening tasks.

• Reliable and committed to completing assigned tasks.

Commitment & Requirements:

• Location is on-site; Work schedule is flexible within normal business hours Monday-Friday 9am – 5pm. As volunteers gain experience and demonstrate their commitment opportunities could include specific projects after regular hours, with less direct staff supervision.

• Outdoor grounds and gardening work is seasonal around April – October; Indoor housekeeping needs are year-round.

• Comfortable with light physical indoor and outdoor activity, such as lifting, bending, and walking on uneven terrain.
