Safer Together is a collaborative initiative co-sponsored by Safer Kids/Safer Schools, the Northwest Community Health Innovation Region, and United Way of Northwest Michigan.
Together, we are launching a concerted effort to recruit adults who are willing to volunteer with children and teens. Our goal is to reduce school shootings and foster safer, more supportive environments for youth by ensuring every child has at least one caring adult to connect with and show interest in their lives. Safer Together makes a promise to all kids in our community: your safety and well-being matter. Your lives matter; you are our future. A key part of achieving this is through volunteerism, and we need your help.
Join us in volunteering with youth in our community! Scroll below to find organizations that have volunteering opportunities.
